The system and your documents
The prototype uses signed OSTree deployments: a system version can be selected separately from personal documents. System rollback does not replace a backup and does not automatically recover a deleted document.
A clear confirmation
The native coordinator verifies the operation target. Administrative confirmations are separate from the interface and restarts are not automatic. Tests rejected requests with incorrect targets or invalid signatures.
The completed test
The 0.1.1 / 0.1.3 / 0.1.1 cycle was verified in the lab VM, including reboots, desktop login and preserved test documents. This result covers that sequence and environment; it does not certify every update or hardware configuration.
An unresolved limitation
An earlier cycle experienced an intermittent stall before login. Subsequent diagnostics did not reproduce it and do not classify it as fixed. Full offline recovery across fault classes still needs qualification. A public release is not available.
